OK, We are getting married on Sunday and our honeymoon cruise isn't until that coming Saturday. We were thinking about getting a hotel suite just for the one night. Our house is sort of crappy-ish (basement apartment). Tell me what you think! Thanks!

FH and I are staying at the hotel where the guests are staying, so we can have breakfast with them the following morning and say thank you's when we're not rushing around.
Besides, our Apt. is just another home and doesn't have a jacuzzi!

We are staying at a hotel suite on the wedding night because my dad is paying for it!!! I think it will be nice, plus we can see people some more the next day!

we are staying the night of the wedding in a hotel suite the night of the wedding too..and we live together already in an apartment

We just booked at the Glen Cove Mansion where alot of guests are staying. We just bought a place so we could come home but I think I feel like we need to go to a hotel for some reason?? But I did think it would be fun to hang out with everyone a bit longer at the pub in the hotel, get some fun pics of us playing darts, pool with the younger crowd... :)

stay in a beautiful suite the night of your wedding - because it is your wedding night and going home isnt exactly the most romantic thing to do - enjoy your wedding night have a special place - hell if you can afford it stay someplace till your cruise takes off makes your honeymoon longer and gives you more special time alone.

Thanks everyone for your advice! We are staying in a suite with a big hot tub for the night of the wedding and I am so relieved to not have to go home. Thanks again for replys!

I WAS going to do a nice HM suite- but have now decided to get a reg room since we are planning to go to two HM locations.

We got married on a Friday night and were leaving on Sunday for our HM but we staying in a hotel for the wedding night even though we already lived together. It just made the day seem a little more special.

We decided not to stay in a hotel the night of the wedding. We are getting married on a Saturday, and leaving for our honeymoon on Monday. We live in a house together, so we will be coming back to the house.
We decided that we'd save a little money... we can sleep as LATE as we want the day after the wedding....we won't have to pack an overnight bag.......AND, i think he has a little something special planned, since he'll be in the house prior to the wedding, and i'll be at my parents. Just a hunch i have!
