Hotel Suite for morning of - 10-15 people getting ready
Hey Ladies, I need to book a suite for the night before my wedding mainly because I need somewhere for all the girls to get their hair/makeup done and then get dressed that morning. I thought I was going to do it at my parents house but my mom thinks it too many people (I think it might be too) I have 10 bridesmaids, 1 JB and 1 FG + my mom and me! I was looking at the Hyatt and Marriott in Hauppauge but they dont really have the greatest pictures of their suites. Has anyone been in any of them and think it is big enough to fit 15 people comfortably?

unfortunately, the quick answer is no. I got ready at a suite in the Hyatt and while it was ok for 6 people and 2 H/M people, that was really it. The Marriott was even smaller.
There is the option at the Hyatt to get a suite with an attached room. Now that might make it more comfortable for everyone. I worked with Laura Quaranta and she was really helpful.

you may want to consider using a function or facility room...my best friend just got ready at the marriott in huntington and instead of piling into a suite, we all met her in the small banquet room...she had hair and makeup done down there and we were about 10 girls..

My friend used the 2 story suite at the Marriot. It was really nice. Spiral staircase and all. Im not sure if its considered Hauppauge over there though. Its the one off exit 53 on the LIE. It would def be big enough!

look into the Islandia Marriott on the LIE. Their executive suite looks pretty large on the pics they have online. I'll be getting ready there in Oct. in one of them so if you can wait I can let you know then. I'm also staying at the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge this weekend so for my bach party so if thats the same hotel I can tell you how big their rooms with 2 double beds are.

If its the Hyatt Regency their standard room will not accommodate that many people. We had 4 people getting ready in a room with 2 dounbles and we were tripping over each other. Their suites might be bigger. It is a beautiful hotel though, pool inside and out with a hot tub and we had no issues at all and our room was very updated. Staff was very friendly.
