Does anyone have any suggestions on hotels for a wedding reception? Nothing outragously expensive ... but nice.

The Estate at the East Wind is lovely. And they give a good deal! It's in Wading RIver

if you want the convenience of a hotel for your guest but not the stuffy conference room atmosphere that hotel ballrooms haeve, I highly recommend the Hamlet Wind Watch in Hauppauge. Its a golf and country club and has a beautiful room. It also shares the same parking lot as the Hyatt WindWatch.
