hotel/direction cards

hotel/direction cards

I don't like the hotel/direction cards that my reception place offers. It kind of 'sells' them, and I think it's inappropriate inside an invitation.

I'd like to create a card with directions on one side and a note about hotels/our website (we have a lot of out of towners) to put into the invite. How would that look? Any suggestions?

Office Max has perforated postcards that you can print in an Ink Jet printer. We are doing something like that too, b/c we have people coming in from England & they have never been here before!

Edited to Add:
They are relatively inexpesice - 120 cards for $10, and you can use the 'fast' option on your printer so it doesn't use too much ink.

i didnt like the direction cards to my place either so i have typed up my own and will have directions to the church on one side and directions to the reception on the other side. i guess i will then need another card for hotel info unless i can figure out how to get all the directions on one side!
i think i will be needing some Kinko's help!!

I felt the same way for my eparty. So I created a template in Quark and printed them on paper that matched the color of the invites. I plan to do the same thing for the wedding.

JMO but I wouldn’t put the hotel information on the same card nor include it with the invite. I would send that separately with the save the date information.

With my invites, I'm sending a card for directions to the hall, one for the church, a directional map with the church, hall and the hotel and an accommodation card with hotel info..hmm what else?
