This is my first posting. I am finally getting into planning my wedding and I am trying to block off rooms for out of town guests. The wedding will be in Massapequa/Seaford area (off Merrick Rd.) so we are looking for some place with in a 15-20 minute drive. If possible if you could also give me an idea of what the rates were that would be helpful. I am planning from Baltimore so any help is appreciated.
We chose the Fairfield inn in Syossett. It costs about $79 a night and that's why we chose it. The Marriot in melville is another choice but the prices is more like $150 a night.
Im originally from the massapequa area. The only hotels in the area are the best western in massapequa on sunrise hwy that is under major renovation right now, and the melville marriott. Your best bet is the best western. Good luck and Congratulations!!
