Hotels

Hey Ladies!!!!

So I am getting closer to having most of the stuff I need to take care of now taken care of.

Regarding hotels...for those of you who have or are getting having your reception at the Old Field Club or anywhere in that area:

What hotels did you use?
How far in advance should I call to discuss?
Did you have more than one? Maybe Danfords and then another less expensive one?
Did they have shuttle service?

We blocked rooms at Danfords and did it back in May because we just wanted to have it done and know that Saturday's in the summer book up pretty quickly. We are just blocking rooms at the one hotel and letting people know there are other hotels in the area, but that there won't be transportation from those. I don't think they provide a shuttle - we already booked one.

If you are looking for something less expensive, there is the Holiday Inn Express in Stony Brook or the Three Village Inn. Not sure what the prices are at either one though.
