I've seen a few posts here and there about hotel blocks. I did use Kleinfeld hotel blocks and got my information document yesterday. Theres quite a few hotels on here. I was wondering if you guys had any recommendations since some of you already booked them. That might help us get through the list.
Our venue is in Patchogue and most of the hotels she gave us are by the airport

I just put in a request with them. We have rooms blocked off at the Inn at Fox Hollow, but looking for another one as well (for a little less $)
I lived in Patchouge for a few years, there are a few hotels right by the express way and North Ocean, I would look into those. We've never stayed there (we lived right down the block) but we've gone to them a few times for after parties and rehearsal dinners etc

The crown plaza is by the lie I believe. I stayed there once for a wedding years ago. It was a nice hotel then. I would look into that.

We blocked off rooms at the Marriott in Ronkonkoma which isn't too far from Patchogue. We did it thru Kleinfelds also and they negotiated the rates down for us, got a shuttle that will bring our guests to and from the hotel to the reception hall and got the bar to stay open later at the hotel for $100.

Did you get the shuttle through the hotel or an outside company? If it was an outside company do you mind sharing how much you are spending?
