I cant see driving back and forth from brooklyn so I thought I'd surprise fh with a weekend away from the wonderful basement...
hopefully that doesnt give him anxiety...I dont want to hear 'I could be laying cement and fixing the sophet' all night..

THe closest ones that I would rec. are in the farmingdale/mellvile area. Or there is also a Best Western on SUnrise in Massapequa. THere are liitle motels closer but believe me they are scary and I def wouldn't rec. them

There is a really nice Marriot Courtyard on Route 110 in Farmingdale. My dad puts customers there all the time and says its nice. I think that would be the closest.

The Courtyard is the hotel that CLM recommends, also check the Melville Marriott. Thats where I booked my block and the rates were so much cheaper.

Fh will only stay in high-end hotels because he had a terrible thing happen in a motel years ago in the hamptons. .. he is in no way snooty or anything, just a very bad thing...followed by hatred for cheap hotels
