A relative had suggested looking into some of the major hotels for a reception. Has any had any experience with this? We're on a super tight budget, but I've heard that they could potentially be less expensive than a CH. I'm looking at the ones in central and western Suffolk County (not East Winds or Fox Hollow). I just made an appointment for this weekend with the consultant from the Hyatt in Hauppauge, and she was really nice.

Also try the Sheraton Hotel in Hauppauge.

I am getting married in the venue at the hotel. I saw no difference in price. Actually, compared to some places I'm paying more $.

FSIL got married at hyatt hauppauge and i think it was more.
