We went today to block rooms at the fox hollow and fairfield inn and while I expected the fox hollow to be pricey so was fairfield. Does anyone know of hotel rooms $100 or below. I was trying to give people options of high and low end hotels. I feel really bad having someone pay $135 for a room that is small and they won't even be in that long.

We are at the NRC as well and although we booked rooms at the Fox Hollow we also booked them at the Best Western Woodbury Inn. I think the rate is $85.00
I used the Holiday Inn in Plainview (it is about a five-eight minute drive to NRC). The blocked/reserved rate was $109. I didn't like the Fairfield one - overpriced for what you get. DH and I went on a search for hotels in the nearby area and found many are very expensive. We liked the Holiday Inn because it had a restaurant/bar in the lobby. MIL hosted a mini-cocktail party there between church and reception and we all went to the bar at night after the reception. Also, we had a brunch in a private room the next morning. We were very happy with them.
My brother booked rooms at that Best Western and the lowest price they gave him was $135 (in August) ...if you got $85 that's a great deal!
Our Wedding is in Feb.
