I'm getting married at the Watermill next February. Has anyone booked a hotel in the Smithtown.. Hauppauge area?
The three hotels they recommend are:Holiday Inn Express Hauppauge, Islandia Marriott and Sheraton Long Island Hotel, Smithtown.
Any reviews on these hotels I would appreciate it!
Thanks so much!!

I had my sweet 16 at the Islandia Marriott and everyone was great. My family stays there all the time when they visit for the holidays and they have never had any issued.

We stayed at the Islandia Marriot when we went to a wedding at the Watermill! It was great and convenient because they had a shuttle bring us right to the reception!

Thanks for your help. I really like the Marriott. I hope I can find a shuttle that isn't too expensive.

Ah! I am getting married the night before you!! At the Watermill!!
I am currently looking into hotels as well--- last weekend FH and I drove to the Watermill, and then drove to the nearest 5 hotels We wanted to compare distance.
We then went inside to visit all 5 to get a feel. I have appointments to speak with all of the Sales Managers tomorrow for quotes. I will let you know how it goes! I definetely want nice accomodations for my guests-- however I do not want to pick the most expensive one either. Something in the middle of nice and WOW.
We looked at:
*Listed in location of closest to furthest (in our opinion-- taking into account traffic, lights, ect.
Residence Inn by Marriot (Vets Highway)*No shuttle service
Holiday Inn Express (Off LIE Hauppauge) *Offers free shuttle
Hampton Inn Islandia (Vets Highway) *Shuttle service available- small rooms but clean and quaint. No suites- but free hot breakfast
Marriot Islandia (Motor Parkway OR LIE Service Road) *Unsure about shuttle service, VERY nice inside- but furthest away we felt
