Re: Hotels for Royalton Brides
We did the Garden City Hotel because we wanted something that had a place guests could hang out at afterwards if they wanted to. The Wingate was booked for our day. Garden City Hotel gives you a deal on your bridal suite if you block rooms with them also(even if none of the rooms actually get booked)

That's where we did our room block. We also considered the Wingate but thought the Claremont would be better. It's less than 3 miles away from the Royalton!

The rate for rooms for guests was $199 or $219 depending on the type of room...and I think our room was $499--but its a big suite that is usually a couple of hundred more. We dont really have many out of towners at all and even if nobody books it we get to keep our room at that price--plus it has a bar open until 2:30. Either way we may do a shuttle there so everyone can hang out afterwards for a little while and so we can stay there. We will probably only have 3-5 out of towners and they are close friends so we could also just suggest other hotels if they want a cheaper price.

We've blocked rooms at the Claremont. I believe it's $175 p/room and $275 for a suite (pls correct me if I'm wrong).
