I want to get a room to get ready in for myself and FH. We will be on different floors. And of couse it has to be really nice for pics as well as honeymoon night.
I also need suggestions for room blocks for guests. I would like something very reasonable in price for my OOT guests.

I really dont know how close it is but the Andrew Hotel in Great Neck is very nice. i booked my night before and my wedding night there.

in floral park there is the floral motor lodge, but i dont know how great of a hotel it is...

Don't do the Floral Park motor lodge. I stayed there once.
There is a new hotel on Jericho tpke...I believe it's a Quality Inn.

Check out the Floral Park Motor Lodge. I actually stayed there a couple of years ago and was really suprised on how beautiful the room was.

Not sure if Plainview is too far for you but the Marriott Residence Inn is absolutely beautiful and the prices are extremely nice! Residence Inns are like apartments and are so comfy.
Marriott has other Nassau locations too...

I grew up in Floral Park all my life! Don't go to either one of the hotels in Floral Park! The FPML is a DUMP! They just re-did it but there are some HORRIBLE stories that come out of there (my friend did research on it for a paper). The Quality Inn isn't a good hotel. They are understaffed and don't really want to know about any problems that you have. They are also hard to get in touch with. Family has had problems there. I would suggest checking out the hotels in Garden city or down Jericho Turnpike more. Sorry, there aren't a lot of hotels in that area unless you go towards the airports.

How about the Garden City Hotel, it's not in Floral Park but it's only about 15 minutes away and It is beautiful!!!
