hotels in hawaii

ok... we're still trying to figure out exactly where we're going on our honeymoon so I need to see how much everything is going to cost.

What hotels in Hawaii do you girls recommend in Maui (7 nights) Oahu (3 nights)?

We loved the Hyatt in Maui, just so amazing.

And we stayed at the Outrigger Reef in Oahu. This hotel is newly renovated and right on Waikiki. Most of the other hotels are a block away.

Four Seasons Maui
Grand Wailea
Fairmont Kea Lani

All in Maui, all amaaaaazing! They all share a beach and its supposedly ranked one of the most beautiful beaches in the world (Wailea). I have been to maui many times and strongly recommend the wailea side of the island if you want peace, quiet and relaxation but still amaaaaazing restaurants!!

FM me with any questions - I grew up spending christmas vacations on maui!

According to tripadvisor.com, the best hotel in Maui is the Four Seasons. It's quite expensive but I got talked into booking it anyway.. everyone swears it's worth it.

On Oahu - check out the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. It's a great location - right on the beach, Dukes Bar is in there and it's centrally located. The Hyatt is beautiful but it's across the street (not on the beach). A lot of the hotels in Waikiki are not actually on the beach, so be careful of that.

The Outrigger also gives you free breakfast, free internet, free phone calls, etc., and it's CHEAP!

Maui - I like Kaanapali because we like to be close to Lahaina and we like walking to Whalers Village shopping center.

I'd pick either the Hyatt (my favorite) or the Sheraton (best beach).

I agree about Outrigger Waikiki Beach. I stayed there in 2007 and it was great. We are staying there when we go back to Oahu in Aug.

IT IS! I stayed there for 7+ years with my family ever christmas break. It is like going home. After being away for years my brother and SIL went on their HM and my bro was greeted by name and the bartender in the lobby remembered his favorite drink!!!!! I'm telling you, it is unbeatable!!!!!

Staying at Outrigger Reef on Waikiki Beach

Considered the Westin for Maui, but booked the Hyatt instead. Just couldn't decide, both amazing

Staying at another Outrigger Resort on Kauai
