HI- I am trying to book our honeymoon this week and we have definitely decided on Hawaii. I was wondering if you could tell me what hotels you were staying at? We are thinking about Maui, Kauai and Oahu. Just trying to get some insight before we book. Thanks in advance!!

i'm booking now too. i lot of people have recommended to me the hyatt and marriott in kauai and maui.
ETA: try searching old posts for hotels in hawaii bc there have been a lot lately and i'm sure you'll find some great recommendations.

Re: Hotels in Hawaii- need help
In Oahu we're staying at the Outrigger Waikiki on the Beach. It's the 3rd time I'll be there. It's relatively cheap but it is one of the few hotels in Oahu that is right on the beach. We really love it there.
In Kauai, we're staying at the Grand Hyatt (for the 2nd time). It's absolutely amazing and very romantic.
In Maui, we're staying at the Hyatt Regency (again for the 2nd time). It's a great hotel. I have also stayed at the Sheraton in Maui which has the best beach and the snorkeling at Black Rock is amazing. FH and I won't go there together though because we were both there with exes.
I have also stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Wailea on Maui and the Princeville in Kauai. We personally like being closer to Lahaina in Maui, but that's really a personal preference. As far as the Princeville goes, it's a really nice hotel, but the other guests were a little bit on the older side and we felt a little out of place.
Hope this helps!

The best spot in Maui is Kapalua, but the only hotel there now is the Ritz, they tore down the best hotel on Maui for extremely high end condos, because it also had the best beach.
