Hotels in Honolulu

Hotels in Honolulu

We finally booked the main part of our Hawaiin honeymoon (5 nights in Hyatt Maui and 5 nights in Hyatt Kuai). We are staying in Honolulu for one night before we head back to NYC and I'm wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good hotel on Wakiki beach. We are looking at the Sheraton, Mariott, Royal Hawaiin, and Halekulani. Any advice?

Thanks!

We are staying at the Sheraton in Waikiki 11/03-11/06. My travel agent said it was very nice and the website photos were very pretty.

I'll let you know as soon as I get back from Maui on 11/18.

The Halekulani was my favorite Hawaii hotel (I even liked it better than the Four Seasons). They treat you like royalty. They bring you to the room to check in privately, pop in a Hawaiian CD for you and show you the amenities of the room. We really loved this hotel!

We are staying at the Halekulani in Oahu. My MOH stayed there and loved it! The service was impeccable. I am so looking forward to drinking mai tais at House Without a Key watching the sunset

All hotels you picked are great, but if we went back to Oahu...I would stay at either:

Royal Hawaiian - for historical value

or Halekulani - fabulous hotel...and also the best 'BBQ' restuarant...they give you the raw food and you cook it!!

I also recommend the Halekulani -- pricey, but truly a unique experience! We loved it!
