Hotels in NYC

Does anyone know a nice hotel in the city, reasonably priced? I'm trying to think of something to do for FH for Valentine's Day and thought maybe a night in the city could be good. Any suggestions? TIA

The W on Lex, and I love The Hudson, its very trendy but a bit more pricey. Hope this helps!

Those are both great hotels but they are pricey so dont know how much you're looking to spend...I would recommend the mandarin oriental but again same thing, you said reasonable priced, what price range?

I'm trying to keep under $300 for the night figuring its around Valentine's Day and they will hike the prices up. The Mnadarin is BEAUTIFUL...but toooo expensive. I was looking at the W hotel....any feedback? Thanks for the help ladies!

I know its expensive too, never stayed there but went to the bar there and just about all drinks were $14 and $16 but hotel bars are expensive...Dont know how reasonable priced it is, check their rates online.

FH and I spent a 'weekend away' at the Milennium Hilton. It's across the street from Ground Zero, which made me reluctant to book it at first, but it's not morbid at all being there, it was actually fascinating to watch the progress down there, plus you have gorgeous views of the river. Tripadvisor rates it one of the best hotels in the City, and as I recall, it was about $200 for the night. There was an indoor pool, flat screen TVs, etc, we really liked it there.
