We're doing a Mediterranean cruise & going in a day early. I wanted recommendations for a nice, AC'd hotel close to the colisseum, not very expensive...any recommendations?

We were about a 10 minute walk from the coliseum and stayed at the Albego del Senato , it is right in front of the Patheon. The hotel is the building with the moon right over it.
We are also going on a cruise leaving out of Citiavecchia on May 4th. We are also flying in two days early. We are staying in Rome at the Mediterraneo. I think we might have booked the last room, but I know that the Hotel Majestic, and the Hotel St. Regis Grand are supposed to be very nice. If your loking to spend less money on your stay look at the Hotel Atlante Garden, or the Hotel Atlante Star. They are both a 3 star hotel instead of a four or five, but I have heard good things. Any other questions let me know, I ahve been to Rome before and also other places in Italy. If you need any pointers happy to help.
