Looking for a hotel near Riccardo's on 24th Ave and 21st Street. Needs to be clean (of course), hopefully has a bar (or perhaps a bar within walking distance), free parking, and not too expensive. Perhaps about $125???
Because FH and I are not leaving for HM until the week after the wedding we rather not go home on the wedding night. And we have a few out-of-town guests who need a place, too and I am afraid of picking a flea-bag hotel.
Thanks!

Re: Hotels in/near Astoria?
There is a Fairfield Marriot on Astoria Blvd. From the pics it doesnt look t oo bad. I was going to look into it for my brother and his family for the nite of the wedding. I think the website showed $110 a nite.

Re: Hotels in/near Astoria?
There is the marriott courtyard which is one of the better ones around. Its about 10 mins from Riccardo. Also a new one opened up on astoria blvd in the 40's, like 49th street or so cant remember exactly. It is kinda small so i would call up soon just in case they book up quickly, since i dont think they have alot of rooms. ITs right off the service road too and they can even take astoria blvd straight to 21st where riccardo's is and be there in just a few short minutes.
Just a warning-STAY AWAY from midway

Re: Hotels in/near Astoria?
I've stayed at The Marriott Fairfield Inn in Astoria and it was was very clean. It's brand new and when my best friend got married in Oct she had her OOTs stay there. But they don't have a bar.
