Hotels Near Glenn Island or Davenport Avenue
Re: Hotels Near Glenn Island or Davenport Avenue
I am getting married at Greentree Country Club on Davenport Ave and I blocked off rooms at the Radisson. I haven't gone there to check out the rooms, planning on doing that soon, so I hope they are ok!!!!

I was told by the manager at my venue to stay away from the Hotels in New Rochelle and to look into the crowne plaza in white plains. It's about a 20 mins drive which is my only concern but I've heard the hotels in NR are not the nicest and one has a club in it and it's not a very nice one.

If you are getting married at the Glen Island, the Marriot in White Plains has a free shuttle bus to the rh. I am getting married at the VIP and I am using the Marriot in New Rochelle. Its more expensive than the Radisson but I think its nicer and easier to find. I am a little worried about parking though because its located in the middle of New Rock city and shares a parking lot with them. They have one free parking spot per room but if a couple of people share rooms, they'll have to pay for their spots at the meter and I'm not sure how much time you can pay for at once.

Try the Renaissance in Westchester - it's right off 287 near White Plains and it's really a beautiful hotel. I stayed there in May for a friends wedding and would def. recommend this place. I've also heard good things about the Crowne Plaza in White Plains. I'm getting married at Glen Island myself, and am having the same issue. The Marriott and the Radisson in New Rochelle aren't the most desirable locations... I've stayed at the Radisson and it wasn't that bad.. the people who work there though were HORRIBLE (this was about 2 yrs ago though).
