I want to book a block of rooms for my out of town guests, they have requested it be close to the reception hall (Jericho Terrace), does anyone know of a nice place, not too expensive, that is really close by? (not garden city hotel). My reception ends at 1:30am so I dont want people driving a very far distance, thanks girls!

Re: hotels near Jericho Terrace
My friend got married at Jericho Terrace and her guests stayed at La Quinta in Garden City. They provided a shuttle for guests, so at the end of the night there were no concerns about people driving.

La Quinta is on the pricey side.....they all are actually. the cheapest i saw was the red roof inn for like $120's per night.

Re: hotels near Jericho Terrace
We are using La Quinta. Any place in Nassau is going to be pricey, unfortunately. Since we are providing transportation, however, I don't think that the guests mind spending that money.
Our reception ends at 1 am and it is on a heavy drinking weekend, so I didn't want anyone to have to worry about driving afterwards!

Re: hotels near Jericho Terrace
Just to give another suggestion, there's the Floral Park Motor Lodge on Jericho Tpke, off of Tulip Ave, in Floral Park. It's not super close to Jericho Terrace, but no so far either - it's about a 15 - 20 min drive with all the lights on Jericho. I don't know if they provide transportation. But it doesn't hurt to check them out.
Then I think there's also a Holiday Inn off of Old Country Rd, near Chateau Briand. Again, not super close to Jericho Terrace, but it's no so far. Might be worth checking out.

Re: hotels near Jericho Terrace
we used the Wingate Inn (which i think is now the La Quinta)...it was nice because they offered shuttle rides to & from the reception, an after party along with breakfast in the morning..
