Does anyone know of any good hotels near John Anthony's or summer houses that could be rented for out of town guests?

John Anthony's is in Babylon, on the water, right? I used to work in hotels. There's the Marriott off the LIE near Rte 110 [exit 49] There is the Huntington Hilton on Rte 110 in Melville. 631-845-1000. They gave me a rate of $119/nt. I'ts normally $139. I searched all summer for accommodations and this was the only place, centrally located, with an outdoor pool. My wedding is in July. I wanted my guests to have that option. We don't have any hotels on the south shore. Hope it's helpful.

There is also the Hampton Inn, I think, in Commack.
