Can anyone recommend hotels near Oakdale for blocking rooms? I guess something that is a reasonable distance from Vanderbilt Mansion and a decent price. I don't know the area at all, so any help would be appreciated.

I would look anywhere on Vets highway.. there are a bunch on Vets Highway. I lived in Sayville next to Oakdale and there no BIG hotels in Oakdale area. But Vets highway in Ronkonkoma is not too far at all!! You have the Holiday Inn, the Marriott, Residence Inn, or you have the Radisson hotel on North Ocean in Farmingville.

Hello there. Are you a VM bride as well?
We choose the Marriot in Islandia. It is right at the other end of the Sagitkos parkway. We really wanted a full service hotel and that was a major part of our decision making process.

Hi I am getting married at the Bourne Mansion and we are using the Hilton Garden Inn they gave me a rate of 109.
