Hotels near Riverhead/NorthFork HELP!

Hotels near Riverhead/NorthFork HELP!

They warned me to block early .. but I didn't listen ... and now I can't find a clean hotel that has rooms left.

I really didn't think OOT would be coming... but now it looks like I need to help them find hotels.

The wedding is Cutchogue, east of Riverhead. Hotels that I found, further east are super expensive.
Hotels that I found, further west are either dumps or all booked!

Can anyone recommend?

They might be pretty expensive, but maybe the East Wind?

agree, try east wind. you might need to look south of Riverhead too.

Outside of the East Wind which is pricey and the new Holiday Inn, you are going to be out of luck. I lived out there for years and there are no other decent big hotels, just the smaller more expensive ones.

I would like to have our wedding out east, like on a vinyard or at gurneys. I realized that the drive for most people on LI would be crazy especially if they are leaving to go home at midnite or later. I am also looking for hotels, I honestly havent found anything I like with a decent price!!! I dont want my guests to pay so much money for a hotel and I do NOT want them to have to drive an hour there and an hour home after such a long day! PLEASE if anyone has recommendations let me know.

They just built a Hilton Garden Inn in Riverhead, about 1/2 miles west of the Holiday Inn Express. It's not open yet, but it looks like it will be open any day. Maybe you could get in touch with the company and find out how you can get info on booking before they open. They'll definately be open by your wedding.

Also, there are alot of Bed and Breakfasts out here. You can look into that, rather than a hotel, since there aren't too many to choose from.

Did you try the Best Western in Riverhead, or the Jamesport Country Inn? Link

is there anything in Calverton? There are also a bunch of B&B's around... maybe you could look into a few of those...

There is only the Best Western and the Holiday Inn and the new Hilton Garden Inn but the Hilton has a 2 night minimum stay for that time of year and won't even book the block for you unless you guarantee those rooms. Did you think about blocking a hotel further west and using a shuttle to transport the guests? FM me if you need more info

I went to a wedding last year out at Martha Clara and the hotel was the Raddison out at exit 65 (I think) they had a bus for us so we didnt have to drive. I know the bus might be an expense but the hotel was reasonably priced and nice and clean

Re: Hotels near Riverhead/NorthFork HELP!

Update:

Best Western
Booked on my weekend

The new Holiday Inn in Riverhead
Completely Booked on my weekend
(and yeah, it was only built yesterday, literally!)

The Raddison
Booked on my weekend

I called a handful of motels and B&B, the ones that are clean and reasonably prices are all booked OR they don't block rooms without a deposit of first night stay on the room.

My guests are the type that don't like B&B and prefer chain hotels. I'm hoping that Radisson, Best Western, and Hilton are only Booked to Blocked rooms, and hopefully brides blocked more than they need... maybe ...

My fiance is telling me now, that hotels for my guests are not my problem lol I had to remind him, its most of his guests that are from OOT!
