Wyndam Windwatch and the Marriot. The Wyndam is nicer though.

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
There is also a holiday Inn Express on the service road of the LIE. It is a pretty new hotel and it is nice. MY FH and I are staying there the night of our wedding and so are some of our guests. The best part is that the hotel is providing free Shuttle service to and from the reception for all hotel guests.

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
I am a BM in babeyblu16's wedding and I know she is having her wedding at the Watermill and she blocked rooms at a nearby hotel. They are also providing free shuttle buses from the reception to the hotel. I forget which hotel - fm her!

What about Danford's in Port Jeff? It isn't that far and the place is beautiful. (but expensive$$)

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
We're using the Wyndham Wind Watch. It is georgeous. If you have a room block, you can get a room for about $139, but I think it's $169 without.

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
I used the HI Express in Stony Brook, it is on 347...they provided shuttle service for my wedding at Smithtown Landing but they a) book their rooms fast and b) the shuttle books fast as well. There was a wedding there when I booked it that was shuttling Watermill guests (that was how I knew about the shuttle service). They were great and the hotel is really nice, it has been there awhile but it is always very busy. Book early if you want to use them!

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
Wyndhams rates seem pretty reasonable but they dont have a suite like holiday inn express but the suite is $299! I think I may go with the Wyndham, has anyone stayed there?
They have this honeymoon package thing that gives you champagne and chocolate that night and breakfast in the am with a late checkout but i am not sure if they would give you that knowing it is your wedding night anyway and if i should bother

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
Have you thought of Port Jefferson? I know there are beautiful places there, and I think also there is a cozy Inn around the Stony Brook area, I think it is called Three Towns.
good luck,
Elena

Re: Hotels near Watermill?
The Wyndham does have suites, both 'Junior' and 'Presidential', however they are reserved for the people actually getting married there. If there is a suite still available 4 weeks before your wedding, they will let you have it. But, even if they don't, they will put you in a room far away from you guests on a high floor overlooking the golf course. That's what we have for now until we know if we can get a suite. I've been there many times during my planning because we are also having a brunch there on Sunday morning after the wedding. The place is really gorgeous. And one of my BMs has stayed there before and she loves it.
