I am looking for hotels that are convenient to the Westbury Manor and could possibly offer shuttle buses to the hall.
TIA

Hi-
Did the Wingate Inn provide shuttle buses to the Westbury Manor? If so were they free or did they charge you?
Thanks

Re: Hotels Near Westbury Manor
My friend was married there last year and her guests stayed at Fox Hollow. I think they provide shuttle service from Westbury Manor to Fox Hollow. They should also give you a nice discount! They offered us a discount for our guests to stay at Fox Hollow when we went to look at Westbury Manor.

Do you mind if I ask what type of discount they offered you?

LOL! Your not slow!!! I have heard that some hotels may offer shuttle service to the reception hall. I am not a 100% sure if you have to pay for it or if it is offered for free.

I booked the wingate and they told me that for every 15 rooms booked (I think), I get a free shuttle service from the hotel to the reception and back. . . or you can get $100 taken off the price of the bridal suite.
If you need a larger vehicle than what the wingate provides (I think it's a 15 person van), they can arrange that for you as well. They are really accommodating.

Do you know if the wingate has a resturant or bar?

They don't have a restaurant, but they do have a bar area in the lobby, I wouldn't necessarily call it a bar. They offer continental breakfast too.

There is a restaurant next door and across the street. There is a bar area in the lobby and they can arrange to have a bartender keep it open for your guests after the wedding. There are a bunch of circular tables with chairs. It's not the coziest room in the world, but it works fine.
The Hilton Garden Inn has a really really nice lobby/lounge area - but as of about a month ago, they didnt have their liquor license so they technically didnt have a bar. You may want to check them out - but they dont have a bridal suite and they dont have a shuttle service. Nice lobby though.
