how many is the average to block? What questions to i ask. I have not only people coming from here but Europe? I don't even know how many I should count on. Please Help!
Some places put a cap, some put a minimum and the Marrriot requests a prepayment for a certain amount of booked rooms (I think it was 30 rooms plus)

we blocked 10 rooms
When I called around each hotel was different.. when i booked it they did 15 rooms.. and they would add when the block started getting full..
I blocked rooms at the Marriott Courtyard - they had a min. of 10 and max of 20. You don't have to put anything down, people just need to call and reserve the room. The rooms are blocked until 1 month prior to the wedding. They send you a contract to sign and give you a code to give your guests. I booked rooms for a Saturday night and the guaranteed price is $139.
