I used hotwire for the first time last month. I was so nervous because you dont know what you are actually getting. We went up to boston for 2 nights for St Pattys Day. Hotwire had a 4 star hotel for 120 a night. SO we FH decided to go for that one rather than a 3 star on expedia for 150. I was freaking out

But we stayed at the intercontinental. It was absolutely gorgeous. I would use hotwire again

How does it work?

I was going to use it to book the hotel for our HM, but they don't tell you what kind of room you will get, and I kind of want to request a little bit of a nicer room...

They give good prices though...

Since their prices are so low, they will not tell you anything about the room until after you book. That's why I don't like them or priceline. Yeah, you're giving me a great price, but you're not telling me anything!
