it is 60+ miles out of the city but the price is what the market is these days.....there are houses under 200K in some towns and you can get a decent house for under 300K in many places

oh wow... i didnt realize houses came down that much.... we were only really interested in condos! we def have to try to buy soon after the wedding

I live in Lindenhurst and there are waterfront houses that are cheap....its crazy...yes some towns are still more expensive but dont count a house out and just look at condos. And co-ops look good as far as price but if the market changes...they might be hard to sell

WOW that's a pretty nice house.. great yard and pool too! Yaphank is far so that must be why it's so inexpensive. My grandmother owns a house out there....i used to live there but dont remember it.. my mother says it was all farm land ish.. but that was the early 80's.
