Re: House Hold Cleaning Products Basket!

First get a large Basket. Fill the botton with Newspaper. Get the following items:

Windex
Sponges
409 Grease Fighter
Clorox Cleanup with Bleach
Lysol Kitchen Cleaner
Swifter Dusting Mitts
Swfiter Duster(walmart has this)
Carpet Deorderizer
Swifter Wet Jet (i love mine)
Dish Soap
Rubber Gloves
Toilet Scrubber

Put the Larget Item in the back and smallest in front. Always tape the items together so they will not fall ove and the set up you make will stay. You can always add dish towels, paper towesl and stuff like that. Or even little thing Like A scrubber to clean the dishes.

I don't know if you'd like to include it - but I know when I clean I wear one of those big headbands that go around your head to keep the hair off your face. They are like 2 dollars at CVS but great for cleaning! Just a thought

Re: House Hold Cleaning Products Basket!

we did this at a shower, someone reads the poem (yuou can search for other poems on the internet) and another person takes out the items

Here are some tips from us to you:
To help your marriage (stick) like (glue)
Oh, how (fantastic) marriage can be it's true!
No longer (solo) in a few weeks
The (pledge) you and Bentley make is for keeps.
Though you are glad that you have found a genuine (honey)
who (wisked) you off the ground,
marriage you will soon discover is certainly not (equal).
As you concentrate vividly on your next trial
Bentley will probably have been napping awhile.
Bentley is very loving, with a (bounce) in his step, too--
because he is getting it all with you!
The two of you together it's plain to see
fit each other to a (tea).
You and Bentley should never (shout)
because that's not what marriage is about.
Treat each other with kid (gloves),
give each other lots of (hugs),
and the (measure) of your success
will be the happiness you possess.
Face each day with (cheer) and you both will have a (zestful) first year.
To (snuggle) and (caress) is the key to happiness--and it's free!
May love and (joy) fill your hearts all the way
and let's hope (DATE) is not filled with rain but sunlight that day.
We know that the days of your married life will be X-tra bright
as your love increases after each little fight.
And may the (dove) of peace bring a (bounty) of love to your life.

or

You (ALL) are getting married.
It’s the (DAWN) of a new day!
So we have gathered things and thoughts
To help you on your way.
It doesn’t take a (WIZARD)
To know happiness awaits
As you enter a new (ERA)
After all your wedding dates.
And even now we can (BEHOLD)
The (BOUNCE) that’s in your steps,
As you approach your daily tasks
With optimistic pep.
You may find your new (ROOMMATE)
Might not be a (MR CLEAN),
But he will fill your life with (JOY)
Like you have never seen.
So don’t send out an (S.O.S.)
If dust accumulates,
For when it comes to married (JOY,)
Then dusting can just wait.
(RESOLVE) to (PLEDGE) yourself to love
Then (SNUGGLE) without end
And a (CASCADE) of happiness

I'd slip a bottle of booze in there too! All that cleaning would drive anyone to drink!

I think everyone has it covered...anything that comes in 'wipes' form, is my friend. I like to light candles after I've cleaned - to get rid of the stink-smell...that could be a nice finishing touch.

My sister did this for me, but I wound up with like 8 bottles of laundry detergent and I don't have a washer dryer, we send out. But it was so much fun!

Re: House Hold Cleaning Products Basket!

My friend put together a basket like this for my shower along with a similiar poem.

I thought it was the greatest thing! Everyone uses and needs this stuff, plus we were moving into a new home and had none of it!

We were using the products for months, whenever we needed something it was there. A very thoughtful gift, poem or no poem!
