house hunting is frustrating
FH an I have been working with a RA hunting for houses. So far everything we have seen is just not what we wanted or needs more work than we want to do. We decided to up our price range in hopes that we would be able to find something in better shape witht the things we both want in a house.
We decided that we really need to be more proactive with this and I started to really spend time looking online ourselves while also having our RA look. I spent about 5 hours plus one night looking online, sending FH ones i liked talking about them together and agreeing to which ones we wanted to send to our RA to set up visits for.
FH emailed our RA last night to set up visits for this weekend. FH just called me and said our RA just called him and said that he looked up all the houses we had sent him and that 1 was taken off the market and that the other 4 were already in contract.
Im so upset right now. Spent all this time looking and finding ones we really thought would interest us within our price range and to find out that we cant even go look at any of them. So its back to the drawing board, but sadly in the areas we are looking there isnt much to look at that really fits into what we want or doesnt need to be torn down and rebuilt.
