well lets hope things pick up though bc even after it was passed, the market was still down a decent amount.

I am glad they made revisions though. Now the FDIC is insuring ppl for $250k to make them feel safer to leave money in the bank.

There is also something in the bill about CEO's pay which i agree with.

They spoke about not just giving these companies the money but having those who tell them where it needs to go and the best way to do this.

what was changed on the bill that made it pass?

i saw this 2 nights ago late at night on CNN, saying that they passed the bailout plan and even yesterday they were talking about how the market was doing after the bill was passed

the biggest difference they talked about was the whole FDIC insuring ppl for $250k. ALso about not handing companies a check but having others advise them on how to spend the money. There were 3 big differences, i forgot what the 3rd was right now sorry.
