Okay, what's the advantages/disadvanages of booking a house vendor? I just booked the reception and I'm on to the next step(DJ,Flowers,Photos,& Limos)? Is there a discount, or am I better off researching myself?

My reception hall offered me the same thing. No charge on the meals if we use their vendors, 1/2 price on non- house vendors. We are going to have a DJ, so even if we go with someone else, it will not be a huge charge. Do reception halls refer these vendors b/c they are the best they can recommend in their field, or is it a monetary issue? Can you recommend any DJ's also? Keep in touch!

As far as I know the Cottage charges 1/2 price for vendors after you meet your minimum- I never asked about house vendors particularly Laura
