where do i get a string of bells to put on my door so that i can train my puppy to touch the bell when he wants to go out? is that something you can make from stuff at Michaels?

with the holidays coming soon you should be able to find within a couple of months!
I would def try michael's
A good way to teach this is to put a piece of cheese on the bell. As soon as he eats the cheese (make it small where it take s a sec to gulp down), the bell rings, you take him immediatly outside.
Keep him on a leash while training.

Wow thats a good idea! Five years too late for me though. My dogs just stand in front of the door and wait, they look like when you are put in the corner and you just stare at the wall.
