Household Poem

Can someone send me the Household poem that is used in bridal showers.

This is the one that was used for my shower:

Dear Lisa:
It is only fair that we let Lisa in on a little Secret. Michael may be Fantastic but wait until Lisa finds out that he is not Mr. Clean. He'll expect her to be a Dynamo in the kitchen and thinks all women should Mop & Glow. At night he'll wake up at Dawn to Snuggle up close. We all Agree that Lisa and Michael will have a very happy Life together. Our wish for you is that your home be filled with Joy and you remain happy as ever in the Future.

Here's one that I wrote and have used many times. The key is in the presentation. You need someone to read and someone to hold up each item at the right time. My sister and I practiced this one many times LOL...

Dear Virginia,
We cannot tell you how GLAD we are to be here today. It all started back in the second grade with your ULTRABRITE personality which through the years, has ALWAYS remained FANTASTICK.

And here you are, ready to PLEDGE your love to Dan, a BRAWNY guy who will surely be a HANDYMAN around your new home. There will be no more SCOPE-ing out guys you SUAVE MADEMOISELLE.

Each time you and Dan REACH for each other to SNUGGLE and CARESS you will be adding CHEER and JOY to your new LIFE.

Please don't forget two very important things:

1 You can always DIAL my number anytime to tell me your SECRETS.

AND

2- For your parents sake, be sure to make one of your many HUGS and KISSES result in some BABY MAGIC!

What a cute idea...never heard of it before!

1. For (ABC) Wishing Well:

(This is a little attachment to the bridal shower invitation. On a piece of paper with an 'alphabet' border, print the following:)

[bride's name] getting married so it only seems fitting to have an 'ABC Wishing Well' for her shower, we aren't kidding.

A letter has been circled so you can tell how we will fill her wishing well.
Please buy a gift that starts with your letter.
Something silly, something sweet or something much better.

'T' could be tongs, toothpicks or tacks;
'S' could be spoons, spices or sacks.
Your imagination is your only limit,
Be clever, be crazy just get into it.

Then come to the shower, to join in the fun -
To honor sweet [bride's name]. Cheers everyone.


2. Recipe Well:

Enclosed for you is a recipe card.
To fill it in shouldn't be hard.
(Bride's name) might like to try your favorite cake,
or whatever it is you like to make.
So don't forget this card on this special date.
Fill it in now, don't hesitate.
At the shower will be a recipe box to fill.
So bring this recipe card, if you will
