My cousin just moved into a new place and I know she likes plants. I just brought her an orchid.

You could go to kohls and get a basket and fill it with dish towels and then give her a GC with the basket. Everyone loves dish towels and a GC!

When we bought our house we had gotten some gc to Home Depot which came in handy.

We gave my friend a house plant and a gc to a local supermarket (trust me...it is definitely appreciated when you first move in).

For another friend, we got them a nice vase. Mikasa has some nice ones that aren't crazy expensive.

I think either a gift card or you could go to BBB and get her a picture frame, you know like those montage/collage looking frames or a pretty candle set.

We got my SIL the shark dustbuster when she got her house (2 yrs ago)

I'm not a big 'thing' person, so I'd probably just like a bottle of wine or something of that nature.

I would also opt for a bottle of wine or champagne with a card. Or a GC- I don't like getting 'things' because they usually end up cluttering my space.

How about some outdoor dining stuff....plates and cups and all that. I got such a nice basket at my shower. I love stuff like that but it's not something I'd spend a lot of money on for myself.

I was going to suggest wine or something all purpose...like a serving bowl, salad bowl, pitcher, etc.

I got this very cute outdoor pitcher set with matching cups the other day that I loved. Totally not something i'd buy myself but very cute!
