I like this guys opinion..... 'foresees 10 percent annual price declines on Long Island -- perhaps as soon as June.'

Re: Housing market pace is slowing
that article was contradictory insofar as in the middle of it the realtor said that there will be 10% annual decreases in the market, but at the end the realtor said the 2006 market would increase so I am not sure how great the article was, only time will tell.

Yeah, saw that...that's why I posted what 'I' liked. Noted that it's all opinions too....sure time will only tell, but for those of us who cannot afford a home right now...these articles make us feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel...and might keep us here instead of fleeing the area like so many people are.

Re: Housing market pace is slowing
he didn't say the market would increase at the end
he said :
'I believe we're still going to have a good real estate market this year,'
what the heck does that mean?? a good real estate market to one person is quite different to another...
just goes to show you that no one knows what can happen!

Re: Housing market pace is slowing
He's probably just referring to # of sales, maybe not necessarily prices....and it sounds more like he just wants to sound positive......as an agent myself, it's a little unnerving.....
