How accurate is.....

the 10 day forecasts???? I am getting married next weekend, and am already beginning to panic by the weather.com and accuweather.com forecasts!.... When do they begin to become more truthful?

They're never right that far ahead of time. Don't stress out because I'm sure that the forecast will change 10 times between now and then. Even if it is pouring your wedding will be beautiful.

Don't stress, the forecast will change between now and then and the weather is one of the things that is TOTALLY out of your control.

OMG - - i just did the same thing Date Twin and i'm taking VERY VERY deep breaths because it CANNOT rain that day.

I know how silly it sounds.... but more anxiety doesn't help the situation!.... We are at WCC and the cocktail hour is outside regardless!... Where is your wedding? The support from the LIWedding girls is definately helping!... I will be checking with you every hour.... FM me if it changes! :)

More often than not the 10 day forecast is wrong. One of our brides is a meteorologist and she has repeatedly said you can't predict the weather properly more than 3 days in advance.

mine is at Thatched Cottage and my ceremony is supposed to be outdoors as well as the indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. you're right - no anxiety - we have enough to do and stress about. it will NOT rain

NOT accurate at all. I did the same thing you are doing.

They said June 10th was going to rain...........it was sunny (and a little breezy) on my wedding.....don't stress yourself out.

I just remembered this, 2 days before our wedding, they said it was going to rain...........it certainly did no such thing....so honestly, until you look outside that day, I wouldn't even listen to the forecasts.

Hey Nadyne!!! I agree with pigs222seal... It's NOT that accurate. Like she said, it said rain on our day and it was sunny all day with wind. You'll be fine!!

never accurate! look at dblplay...she went out and bought umbrellas because the forecast called from rain on sunday----i smiled when i thought of her sunny....when there was not a drop falling! have faith.
