Great!!! It made my day when I was driving my daddy to work and saw the sun coming out. It was about freaking time, even though they say it's supposed to rain this evening. Yourself?

Isn't it amazing how profoundly the weather affects our mood?
FH and I are about 80% sure we are moving out of NYC after the wedding. I want to cry with relief when I think about it. Our #1 requirement for a new home: Better quality of life. That includes weather. There is nothing worse than fighting through Manhattan in a rain/humid storm like yesterday, waiting underground in a 200 degree subway station with 100% humidity, and sitting down next to a man who pulls out his thing and starts rubbing himself while looking at you. (This happened to me last night!) I cried myself to sleep.
I AM SO OVER NYC!!!
We are thinking about a beach town in North Carolina. Ahh......only 11 months to go.

But if you were to decide on that one (and soon), you might be able to get it a lot cheaper because it is discontinued. I'm sure whatever you pick will look beautiful.

Definitely for me because I know I only have to work 4 hrs tomorrow and then the weekend starts! I love the 4-9-4 work week! (four 9hr days and one 4 hr day)

Bunnymonkey you are too funny, I'm sorry I had to laugh at your misfortune. I hate NY also. FI would NEVER move out of NY though.
Well my car is being serviced and my bike has a flat so looks like I'm stuck in the house all day. It could always use the cleaning.

Guess what?
I am going on vacation.. yay!!
My dad, sister, FH and I are going to Arizona to visit my grandma and aunt!! It's only for a few days but I miss them alot, and orginally FH & I thought no vacation this year, but we got a great deal on Hotwire.com, so we are going!!!
But of course FH now is cranky because he hates to spend money..lol urgh!! I have to remind myself his thriftyness is a good thing.. we will be able to buy a house that much sooner...

tink (datetwin!) How many years more do you think you can put up with this city?? I am from NY, and I still hate it! This is my theory: You need money to enjoy this city. My FH and I bust our asses in crappy jobs to pay ridiculous rent and be exhausted and angry and in a hurry all the time! Whats the point? Siyonara, NYC! You'll be appreciated when I visit as a tourist.
