Anyone been out today? fh's car is being held hostage at pep boys..they closed early last night with his car still there..and now we have to pick it up..but Im kinda scared...anyone know how the roads are?

I just came in from snow blowing and shoveling and my driveway is slippery. I wouldn't go out unless necessary.

I'm not sure. I'll find out in a bit though, my FH told me that he's going over to his parents to shovel (they are on vacation in Florida). I've been nominated to help. I live in an apartment, I shouldn't have to shovel!!! We're still supposed to get more snow!

Be careful if you go out. FH is has been out plowing since 3am and said he can't see a thing!

The roads north of the city are good, we made it to my FILs to shovel and well, unbeknownst to me, they only have one shovel so my FH sent me inside. So basically, I'm doing the same thing I was doing at home except now I'm sweating because I have on like 10 layers of clothing!!! I have no idea why he was like you should come too. They live like a mile away so it wasn't like he was going on a long trip!
It sounds like the neighbors have a snow blower, maybe they'll come over and help my FH.
Why can't it blizzard though in a weekday so we can get a snow day???

do NOT go out unless its an emergency - there are many accidents today - its not worth it to venture out in these type of conditions ... JMO

I just drove from Bklyn to SI.. the parkway isn't too bad they plowed alot, the SI expressway is a mess. Just be careful.. the roads aren't icy because the snow is still soft.

my Fh and I had to come home this morning(we spent the night our for Valentine's!! ) The roads were horrible! I have a Tahoe and we still drove 20 mph on the expressway! Stay home...why get into an accident and lose two cars!!

I wouldn't go out w/o 4 wheel drive
AAA is NOT running helps trucks till later- we had to get our truck unstuck ourselves- ok not me- at least it was at our house
