ur using ur own hand writing or someone in ur family that has a nice hand writing or are u using a calligrapher?
I have not that nice of a hand writing, FH's looks like 5 yr old's and my mom's is very pretty but impossible to read and I dont think I can afford a calligrapher as much as I want to

Re: how are u feeling the escort cards?
we're using navy cardstock and printing everyone's names on mailing labels and spicing it up with a bling or something like that

Re: how are u feeling the escort cards?
I printed them on table tent cards from staples and printed our monogram on the back of each (it was very simple to do with the free templates they came with) -- took no time at all, and they came out fine. Definitely not gorgeous, but if we'd maybe put a little sticky crystal on them or if I had a color printer, they probably would've been even nicer. Certainly served their purpose.

LOL Don't worry about it! That's what the rest of us are here for -- to give you ideas!
I printed out our own programs as well, and also the little cards asking people to upload photos to shutterfly.

DH folded origami sailboats and we printed clear labels with the guests' names. My mom and sister stenciled the table numbers onto the sails to look like the numbers that are on the sails of racing yachts.

Thanks! The things I subjected them to. I am totally not crafty, but had to have origami sailboats as the escort cards. LOL
