not getting your period on your wedding day? My period never fails for the 14th and I really don't want to have it my wedding day and my HM... It gets sooo bad and I get these cramps so horrible I can't walk... Plus I have to run to the bathroom every 15 mins because its so heavy.. Besides being pregnant, is there another alternitve you ladies are doing? TIA!

i would do birth control... The only problem is, the last time I was on it, I had the worst side effects.. I gained weight for eating a cherio , I broke out all over and it bothered my stomach big time... My doc gave me a lower dosage but I never tried it.. Maybe I will have to though because Aunt Flo is NOT invited to my wedding!

I take BC and basically my GYN said that instead of taking the placebo pills at the end of the pack I would start a new set of bc pills. My wedding is on the 27th of Dec. and I always get my period from the 23rd-27th.
Talk to your gyn and see what your options are.

I was sure i was going to get it on the friday before my wedding, but it came on time a Full week before my wedding.
May was a long month, so i got it may 30th!

I'd definitely go on some type of birth control so you can be sure you don't have it for the wedding or the honeymoon. Who knows, some of them even make your cramps better too. I've tried a million of them and had side effects for all of them. Now I use the NuvaRing. So much better than taking a pill that makes you crazy every day!

as of right now im not going to have it on my wedding day but i should be getting it on my honeymoon!
Im just going to deal with it when it comes!
You never know it might change as it gets closer... stress will do it

Talk to your gyn! There are alot of different BC pills that can regulate your period and also help with the icky cramps and heavy flow. You can also 'schedule' your period so you won't have it on your wedding day/hm but skipping the last week and going to a new pack. I've done it so many times and I've never had a problem Good luck!

I was allergic to the first one too and have major side effects. I'm on Tilia now, which is a really low dosage and my flow has been regulated for over two years now. I can pinpoint to the 1/2 hour when it's coming lol You should try it out and then track the best time you should start, before starting, so that you can be Flo-free!
