What do you all think about having a place card tree?

Like branches stuck in a pot and tie ribbons to the placecard and hang them?

Tacky or different? Since we are considering either fall or winter theme, i guess it could be used for both.

This is how we displayed our place cards on the piano. To the right of our table cards was our guest book. We had a sketch book, colored pencils and crayolas (DH is an architect and we have lots of friends who can draw

It was a good idea because that way when people picked up their table card they signed our guest book as well.

But now I am getting these because this site has more matching stuff (menus, table numbers, etc)

Great website. I think I'm going to use this for my menus. If I knew earlier, I would use them for my placecards, but we already bought them.
