How are you lighting your centerpieces?

Hello,
I definitely want lighting for each of my centerpiece but don't know if I should get an abundance of candles in varying heights, a lightbox for under each centerpiece or those battery-operated small lights that you drop in the vase and they illuminate over the glass beads and water.

With so much choices out there, how are you lighting your centerpieces?

We just talked to our florist today about the possibility of bringing in 'pin spot lights' to focus on each table.

I don't know the price yet, they have to get back to us about it -- but maybe your hall or florist have a suggestion for you.

We had spotlights on each CP, votives around the CP and I had 3 pink floralytes illuminating each CP from within (they were in the water)

While you both talk about pin lighting, I don't think I can do that. (I'm getting a whole bunch of pin lighting and a personalized gobo from DJ). But I do like that you used both candles and the floralytes (or light cubes or something that battery-operated) as well. Would love to see any pics if you have.

FH and I revisited our centerpieces one day when we were cleaning out his extra closet so I could begin moving my stuff in. We decided instead of tealights and lots of holders we wanted to use the candles for our engagement party. John from Flower Michele will be incorporating a variety of flowers, leaves, and vines. We figured it saved us $$ (we had all the candles), provided a nice take home gift for whoever wins it, & the candles give off a nice scent.

I definitely like having a lot candles as well by the centerpiece...the guests would love to take them home. Thanks.
