At home I have a big desk calender- so FH can see dates at a glance.
I also have a very organized to do list that I did on excel.... It is has EVERYTHING on it in details... including if I need to buy underwear ANYTHING i can think of goes on it... I bride brain and can't remember to much these days.
This speadsheet is the best....
BTW: I also have a binder that I have for EVERY vendor- for contract, notes ect.

Re: How are you staying Organized
a few days after we got engaged i went to staples and bought a huge binder and about 6 different folders that i use religiously now. the binder is about to explode i swear! i have everything in there - contracts, ideas of things I'm contemplating, invitation proofs, STD proofs etc. i have a planner that tracks all our appointments day by day and then i also have a 'to do' list for every month...needless to say my FH thinks I'm crazy

Re: How are you staying Organized
Excel is fabulous, isn't it??? I do everything in Excel. It really keeps me on target.
I have a spreadsheet for all my wedding vendors and each tab is a different category (i.e. bands, florists, photographers, etc). Then, I list the names of the vendors I want to contact w/ all their pertinent info and then fill it in as I meet w/ them. I also fill in comments like 'too expensive' or 'great pictures', etc. as I go along. So when it's time to book, I can refer to my notes. I've found this system extremely helpful in my planning process. I also have a HUGE 3 ring binder with all my contracts, pictures, ideas, budget stuff, payment info, etc.

Re: How are you staying Organized
I'm a fan of Excel. HF's task is updating the spreadsheet. I also have a binder with dividers and sheet protectors that holds everything from the RH contract to dress choices to favor ideas. I also chose to go with a theme wedding to keep my ideas focused.

Re: How are you staying Organized
Yeah Excel is great, I use it for everything that needs to be put on a graph.Other than that I use the knot online planner, and I have a regular wedding planner. For all contracts and so on I bought a portfolio, and I have my daily planner that I use for absolutely everything. =0)
