How are you wearing your hair AND how did you decide?

Just wondering because I'm at a loss. How are you wearing your hair: up, down, or half up/half down?
Also, how did you decide this?
I want to wear my hair down because I like the way my hair looks down ALOT.
However, I'm debating wearing it up because its July and it will be hot...but I dont like the way my hair looks when its back.
Then again, I'm thinking if its done professionally and I have my makeup done, it should look good right?
What are you doing and WHY!?

I'm 99% sure that I'm wearing it up. Few reasons . . .
1. My hair is kinda fine and doesn't always hold curl well, especially if it's at all humid out. I don't want it looking scraggly half way through the day, esp if I get sweaty dancing, etc. At least if it's up and sprayed in place I shouldn't have to worry about it too much (I hope!).
2. Our wedding is very formal and I think my hair looks a little more formal when it's up.
3. I just like my hair up, at least for very dressy occasions.

i have to wear my hair all up bc my dress has a lace shrug jacket that has kinda a high neck...

Half up/Half down - because I want it out of my face. FH hates when I wear my hair up also - I've been told.

I'm wearing mine up. I decided to put it all up because I wear my hair down every day and want it to look different/special on the day of.

half up half down.... i decided because i never wear my hair up so i didnt want to for my wedding day and fh always complains that he cant see my face when its all down so i compromised with half up half down

Im actually going for a trial next week. I am planning on wearing my hair all the way up. I wear it down almost all the time and dont want it to look like my everyday look although I have heard some people say you should wear your haie the way you always wear it cause its more natural. I say go for a trial or two if you are unsure.

up because it is July and I want to stay cooler and not frizz out. My hair is crazy thick so down or half up would be too much and make me even hotter.

Do whatever you feel most comfortable with. My sister, who always has her hair down, decided to have it up for her wedding and really regretted it. She didn't like how she looked in the photographs.
I always think making big changes to your appearance for your wedding day is a mistake. But of course, if you get it right, it can look amazing.

i am wearing my hair half up/half down. i decided because when i wore it all up for my friends wedding FH said he didn't really like it. i decided against having it all down because i get annoyed by it very easily.

Ugh! I’m in the same boat as you Colleen! I’m not sure how I want to wear my hair. At first, I though all down or 1/2 up, BUT my hair is so difficult that I think I’ll be worrying about it all day. So, now I’m leaning to a loose, low updo. Problem with that, is I NEVER wear my hair up.

I am wearing my hair all up. It is going to be soo hot in August and my gown is about 30 lbs so I dont need anything causing me to be hotter than I will already be.
Plus I like my hair up. I think it looks more formal on me.
ETA: Also my hair will frizz in humidity, and I can't have that happening

Def down...possibly with one side pulled back and a jeweled clip.
Going for a hair trial next week so I will have a more definite idea!

Definitely down, with either some strands on the sides pulled back or the crown pulled back (just so it is out of my face). I don't like how my hair looks up and I always wear my hair down, so the down style is more 'me'

I'm wearing it all up b/c i have super thick hair wavy hair and July + humidity is not a good combo for me. I believe I will have with a low side bun ish

i am wearing it up
i always wear it up for fancy events...i have very fine hair so down with curls would not look good on me. and i didnt wanna get a ton of extensions and look like a different person. i wanna look like myself.

Most likely half up/half down or all down, curly. I love the way my hair is curly half up and half down, and so does FH. He thinks it's sexy. I just want my hair longer again (I cut off 11 inches a couple months ago). It's growing pretty quickly, so hopefully by August it will be by my boobs at least.
I don't think I'll do it all up. I like long, flowing curls too much and I always have my hair down.
