I was just curious where on your head you were putting your vail.. i always thought i wouldnt wear a veil, but when i tried one on at the boutique, i loved it... I also thought i would like it better underneath my updo in the back... but it will be on top of my head right in front of the updo... how about you?

I am doing half up w/ the veil under the pile of curls, I got a 2 teir and am going to wear one as a blusher for the walk up the aisle.

I'm wearing it in the back of my head, but over a low do. It will have a blusher so I'll wear that over my face down the aisle.

I haven't decided 100% yet, but I think I'm going to have a half up half down with the veil at the back of my head.

On top of my head.... it gives some needed volume up to make me look more proportionate
My hair will be half up--or, at least, the front will be pulled back. The veil will be under the barrette or whatever (haven't bought it yet) that's holding my hair back. Because it's a simple thing, I got a one layer, not very full veil. I definitely did NOT want a big poofy veil.
I was tempted by birdcage veils, but one wouldn't look right with my gown, and I bought a tiara I love, so no birdcage for me.

I will be wearing my veil the same way...I agree with not having a big poofy veil!

I need to find a veil first! Love the look of birdcage veils but i think netting in front of my face would irk me. Jury's still out.
