So at our wedding I did not get to eat our delicious red velvet cake. Everyone has been raving about it and I was SO disappointed. Our best man can not stop talking about how awesome it was. Yesterday he asked me where we got it from. I told him. He then tells Brad and I that he ordered a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting for 12 people and that we are going over tonight to eat it with him, his wife and one of the other groomsmen! HOw freakin awesome?!? I am SOOO excited! lol

I mean, possibly one of the cutest things I've ever heard! What a sweet man! We had red velvet too! It was TO DIE FOR! I didn't eat any that night either, but the next day, at the day-after brunch at my mom's, we had a little mini-cake cutting ceremony for the top which we took home! Everyone ate it and loved it so much! Anyway, your post inspired me to go get a red velvet cake today for FH and I. He has been having a really rough week, and this would be just the surprise!

Just a lil update Laur I called a bunch of places, most of them you had to order it a day ahead which I expected. I found a little bake shop in Great Neck called Sweet Temptations that had one in the case! We'll see if it's any good!
