How bad is this...my dress isn't arriving until 4 weeks before the wedding...
I still don't have a headpiece, veil, shoes, or lingerie. Don't I need the dress before I can get that stuff?
And, I don't even have a seamstress. How bad is this?

Not necessarily....... You can buy the headpiece, veil, shoes and lingerie ahead of time. In regards to getting your dress in 1 month b4- you may be cutting it close but it shouldn't be a problem if you find a good seamstress (which I think you should work on now).

you aren't having your alterations done at the place you are buying your dress? You don't need you dress to get those other things.....You should be able to find out the color of your dress from the the saloon(diamond white, ivory etc)........

Don't worry-its not that bad. You can get your veil without your dress. Do you have a picutre of it? You need the shoes & lingerie befor eit coems in anyway, for the fitting. my fitting is 4 weeks before my date, even thoguh my dress shoudl be in earlier, so teh only differnce is that you don't have any leeway, if it doesn't come in on time.
A seamstress you can find while you are waiting for the dress.
Did you get it online?
Where do you live? we might be able to help you find a seamstress.

My wedding is May 1st and my first fitting isn't until April 6th ...
I ordered my dress online and am having alterations done where my MOH purchased her dress (Shoreham Bridal).
I picked out my veil based on what I wanted so it didn't matter that I did not have the dress at the time.

My Wedding is July 10 and my dress will be in the first week of June, they said no problem it will be fine

I'm getting married on the same day & my dress isn't in & I don't have those other things either....Gee, maybe I should call my shop???
