How big is the Groom's cake??

If you are ordering a Groom's Cake - How many people are you planning for when you order it?

Is it for a small group of people or everyone??

Hi Mary!!!

I'm going to get the Groom's cake for the rehearsal dinner, so it will be enough to feed about 30-35 people!

I keep going back and forth about where to have it because I want everyone to be able to see it.. but its almost a waste to have it at the wedding since we are having the VH and the other cake too!

I completely agree! I think that most people won't even notice at the wedding. I figure I will have pictures of it from the rehearsal dinner and the whole bridal party will get to see in person!

Mine feed's about 30 people or so.

These are my exact thoughts too! I still can't make up my mind. I was thinking of having it at the wedding and then not cutting it and letting him take it home, and then sharing it w/ our families the next day.

My bakery is making the WC big enough for everyone at the wedding, and then the groom's cake will just be for the BP and our families. I actually never thought about asking if we can take it home so we can have it the next day - love that idea!
